When Ansem puts that machine to absorb hearts from Xemnas's kingdom hearts, when that machine has filled up, why didn't he jumped or escaped, or something, to survive  |

He had to hold the machine steady after it started overloading. If he didn't, it would've shook too much, and probably wouldn't have stayed pointing at Kingdom Hearts.
